Philadelphia Eagles History/Trivia

The Philadelphia Eagles were founded in 1933. Before their reign as the "Eagles", the Philly pro-football team was the Frankfort Yellow-Jackets. After they were purchased by Bert Bell in '33, he changed the name, and the Eagles continue today. As of 2009, there are 10 players or coaches from the Eagles that have made the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Also as of the end of the 2008 season, the Eagles have won 3 NFL titles, and have made 2 unsuccessful Super Bowl appearances.
